Cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves are just a handful of the spices that help to make up the Slightly Spicy Buxton Tea Bread. A close cousin to the traditional welsh loaf - Bara Brith, the Buxton Tea Bread is a fat-free loaf enriched with dried fruit and flavoured with tea. The Buxton Tea Bread was awarded two Great Taste stars in 2011, is one of our most popular products and has a great shelf life.

We also have a heat and serve version of the Slightly Spicy Buxton Tea Bread, a twist on the classic Bread and Butter Pudding - Tea Bread Pudding.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

  • Serve with a slather of salted jersey butter and a nourishing cup of tea.

  • Spoon on a bit of fresh clotted cream to make this loaf into more of a dessert.

  • If you want to try something a little different, a bit of lemon curd can create a flavoursome masterpiece with the Buxton Tea Bread.
